Villages Tea Party leader scores Sarah Palin autograph at booksigning

By Jane Bloom

Aileen Milton, president of The Tea Party of The Villages, and Francis Newbrough, vice president, were anticipating Sarah Palin’s visit to The Villages at Barnes & Noble.  At their Tea Party table, they had the sign they were hoping would be personally autographed by Sarah Palin, which would add to the other Tea Party favorites who had already come through The Villages and penned their names-Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and Rick Santorum. Not to be disappointed, Sarah Palin signed her hat and the sign, and her elation could not be contained.  With more than400 paid members, The Tea Party of The Villages was out in a great showing Monday to say hello to one of their favorites.

Sam, Lois and Sam Jr. Garrison were out celebrating Sam Jr.’s birthday today by getting their books signed by Sarah Palin.  Lois has done a portrait of Sarah and presented it to her during the book signing. Lois told Sarah Palin  “You run for truth, the last one ran for change”.   Sam Sr. thinks Sarah is wonderful, dynamic, a “real doll”, he says with enthusiasm and Sam Jr. wants Sarah to run for President, he says Sarah is his idol and a wonderful woman.   This birthday celebration was one that could not be any more memorable!
