A 20-year-old Summerfield man was arrested on a marijuana charge Tuesday by Wildwood police.
Justin Michael Richardson had been driving shortly after midnight at U.S. 301 and Pepper Tree Lane when a police officer noticed a taglight was not operating on Richardson’s blue Hyundai.
During a traffic stop at the nearby Kangaroo service station, Richardson was asked if he had any marijuana in the vehicle. He produced a Ziploc bag containing 19.3 grams of marijuana, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
Richardson was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $1,000 bond.
