A 60-year-old Village of Sabal Chase woman arrested this past November after egging her ex-boyfriend’s house will escape prosecution in the case.
Diane Frank had been arrested on a charge of criminal mischief after going to the designer home of her ex-boyfriend on Hartsville Trail in the Village of Sunset Pointe and throwing eggs at it, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She then threw a walking path stone against a window causing chipping to the glass. Frank also used the stone to slice through a screen door. The entire incident was captured on the man’s home surveillance system, the arrest report indicated.
The man later sought an order of protection against Frank.
In Sumter County Court earlier this month, a judge signed off on a a deal brokered by Frank’s attorney that would allow her client to enter into a pre-trial intervention agreement. Court documents show that Frank entered into a detox program on Nov. 26 at The Recovery Village in Umatilla. She completed the program on Dec. 2.
Frank was represented by attorney Jaimie Washo.
