William John Thede

William John Thede

William J. Thede, 89 of Oxford, Florida, passed away Wednesday July 18 at a Villages health care facility. He was born July 13, 1929 in Colby, Wisconsin to the late Alvin and Florence Volkmor Thede.

William was a retired warehouse manager in the ship yard industry in Bellevue, Washington.

He was very active in The North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, Florida.

William was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy of 49 years, and a son Brian D. Thede. William is survived by a son James W. Thede and his wife Nita of Oxford, Florida, and a daughter Elizabeth Lilly of Grass Lake, Ca. and her husband Wesley. Also surviving is three grandchildren, Bethany Lilly, Thomas Lilly and Daniel Thede.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday July 25 at 10 a.m. at the North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, Florida. Inurnment will follow the Memorial Services in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Leesburg, Florida.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake. Pastor Jerry Lion conducting services.
