A 20-year-old Wildwood man is free on $4,000 bond after allegedly threatening dog walkers and cursing at police officers who attempted to arrest him in Leesburg.

Christopher Lee Sesler is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery and resisting arrest after he was taken into custody on New Year’s Eve by Leesburg police.

An argument had broken out after some dogwalkers were accused of their animal having defecated in a yard, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. During the argument, Sesler allegedly struck another person in the head and pointed at his waistband and said, “I got some lead” for you, the arrest report indicated.

When police arrived, Sesler allegedly cursed at them. While police tried to take him into custody, a K-9  bit Sesler in the arm and inner thigh. He was transported to Leesburg Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. He was later booked at the Lake County Jail.

Sesler had been arrested on a marijuana charge last year. You can read about that arrest HERE
