Villages woman arrested driving after license suspended three times

A Village of Tall Trees woman was arrested by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy after she was allegedly caught driving after her driver’s license had been suspended three times.

Stacey Lynn Walker, 37, who resides on Welcome Way, was arrested after the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a suspicious vehicle at about 6:15 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of NE Second Drive and County Road 462. After locating the vehicle, the deputy noted that the driver and a passenger were not wearing their seatbelts. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and it was determined that Walker’s license had been suspended three times.

She was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $1,000.
