Villages-News.com has been making some major changes to improve its comments section. As a result, you may have noticed some minor technical difficulties over the past few days (i.e., comments not appearing). Please bare with us while we work out the kinks.
A couple things to note about the new comments section:
- You can sign up for a new account by scrolling to the bottom of the page and finding the “conversation” section. Above it, you’ll see these options:
- You can edit your username, picture, password, or profile by going to the top of the “conversation” section and hovering over your username:
- You can edit or remove one of your comments by simply finding the comment, and hovering your cursor to the right side of the comment to find a drop-down arrow with options.
- Every comment can be voted “up” or “down”, and the highest rated comments will rise to the top
- You can sort comments by newest, oldest, or “best.” By default, comments will sort to show the highest rated first.
- You can report any inappropriate comment by hovering over the comment and scrolling to the right until you find the drop-down arrow.
