Villages Charter School to hold parents-only meeting about school shooting plot

The Villages Charter School will hold a parents-only meeting Saturday about the recent school-shooting plot that was foiled.

The meeting, in which the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is also participating, will be held at 10 a.m. at The Villages Charter Middle School gym. The purpose of the meeting will be to share information regarding the event from last week at the middle school.

This meeting will be informational and no children will be allowed, no childcare will be provided and no adults other than those who are eligible to earn Parent Involvement hours may attend.  Parents will earn one informational hour for attending.
