Don and Leslie Kaiser were at Barnes & Noble in The Villages early Saturday morning to see FOX News personality Greg Gutfeld.
For the Kaisers of the Village of Virginia Trace, it was kind of like seeing an old friend.
“The last time he was here, we took him around the square in our golf cart,” Leslie Kaiser said.
She and her husband took photos of their 1957 Chevy Bel Air-themed golf cart in front of Gutfeld’s enormous tour bus before enterting the store to see him.
Gutfeld, host of Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld and one of five co-hosts/panelists on FOX News’ political talk-show The Five, is on a book tour in support of his latest work, “Not Cool: The Hipster Elite and Their War on You.”
Inside the store, Gutfeld hugged the Kaisers and greeted them like old friends.
“I will never forget that ride in the golf cart,” Gutfeld said.
He has been on quite a ride lately.
“We got in really late last night,” said Gutfeld, who said he spent Friday night at the Waterfront Inn. “I wish I had more time to stay in The Villages. It’s such a great place.”
Earlier this week, “America’s Got Talent” judge Howard Stern touted Gutfeld as a replacement for David Letterman. (The job ultimately went to Steven Colbert.)
The Huffington Post has reviewed Gutfeld’s latest book as, “Gutfeld as his best.”
As soon as he finished signing books for Villagers, Gutfeld was back on the bus headed for an 11 a.m. booksigning at a Barnes & Noble in Orlando.
