David Carmen Donofrio of 2714 Castillo Drive told a police officer he was coming home from Leesburg Bikefest when he got lost on West Ianthe Street, according to an arrest report from the Tavares Police Department.

At about 2 a.m., Donofrio had tried to open a woman’s sliding glass door. He was also spotted walking around an apartment complex where he broke a window.

When a police officer attempted to talk to him, he became loud and began pacing back and forth. He was incoherent and refused to cooperate with law enforcement. His behavior began waking up the neighborhood and residents began turning on their lights, the report indicated.

Donofrio was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, disorderly intoxication and loitering/prowling. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
