A Villager who crashed his golf cart Tuesday morning at a tunnel entrance in front of Freedom Pointe at The Villages, was transported by ambulance to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
The Florida Highway Patrol was called in to investigate the accident which occurred at about 8:30 a.m.
A walker had been attached to the golf cart and came out in the collision with the fence.
The man reportedly fell from the golf cart as a result of the crash.
The golf cart he had been driving did not appear to have seatbelts.
