A Villager was surprised Tuesday evening when she saw a Bobcat in her backyard.
Mary Grunewald of the Village of Sunset Pointe received a phone call from one of her neighbors at about 6:30 p.m.
“They told me there was a cat in my backyard. I asked, ‘What kind of a cat?’ and they said, ‘Go look.”
She looked out at her backyard on the first hole of Pelican golf course and spotted the wild animal.
“I grabbed my camera and zoomed in,” she said.
Grunewald, who moved to The Villages eight years ago from Oconomowoc, Wis., also has seen baby pigs out on the golf course.
