A Villager for whom a Silver Alert had been issued this weekend has been located.

The Silver Alert had been issued Saturday for 75-year-old Robert Hennessy of the Village of Caroline.

At 4:30 p.m. Monday, Hennessy drove himself to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Village Annex and told deputies that he had heard he was being sought.

“Mr. Hennessy was in good condition and was removed as a missing/endangered adult,” the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
