A Villager has reported the theft of a valuable ring from her home in the Village of Woodbury.

The ring is described as 14 karat gold with a large emerald surrounded by 12 small diamonds, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The 74-year-old woman reported that the ring had been purchased in December for $2,343.

She said she last wore the ring when she went out for the evening on Feb. 12. She noticed it was missing on Valentine’s Day.
