A 70-year-old Village of Santo Domingo man was arrested Monday evening at American Legion Post 347.

Larry Hale Pogue had reportedly started drinking in the bar at the post at 2 p.m. and became angry when he was cut off by the bartender a few hours later, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He began yelling at other patrons in the bar, the report indicated. He also refused to leave the bar when asked to do so.

Pogue was placed under arrest on a charge of disorderly intoxication. He was booked at the Lake County Jail where he later posted $500 bond and was released.

He is due for arraignment March 17 in Lake County Court.
