A 36-year-old Villager was arrested when he was allegedly intoxicated and refused to get into a cab outside Margarita Republic.

Kevin Joseph Boudreau and a female companion were outside the Spanish Springs Town Square restaurant at 2 a.m. Saturday when they were encountered by Lady Lake police officers.

While waiting for a taxi, Boudreau cursed at officers and blew cigarette smoke at them, according to the arrest report.

He was warned several times by officers to calm down and wait for the taxi, the arrest report indicated. He began to get aggressive toward officers when the taxi arrived. He then refused to get into the cab.

He was arrested on a charge of disorderly intoxication and transported to the Lake County Jail. He posted $250 bond and was released.

He is due for arraignment July 22 in Lake County Court.
