A Village of Hadley woman who was transported by ambulance Saturday afternoon from the scene of a golf cart accident, is on the mend.
Linda Bosco and her husband Anthony had been in the golf cart heading to McAlister’s Deli in Brownwood at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday when the accident occurred on the multi-modal path near Eisenhower Recreation Center.
Linda Bosco, who had been riding as a passenger, was knocked against the golf cart’s arm rest when the accident happened. She was not thrown from the cart in the accident. Her husband, who had been driving, was thrown from the golf cart but fortunately landed in some soft grass.

Linda Bosco was transported to The Villages Regional Hospital and released a few hours later.
“I am mostly just sore,” she said.
Her husband was scuffed up a little but did not require medical attention.
The Boscos, eight-year residents of The Villages who came here from Delaware, said they were fortunate to escape serious injury. When they saw the other golf cart coming at them, Anthony Bosco was able to take some evasive action that prevented a head-on collision.
Their 2012 Yamaha golf cart is drivable but sustained some gashes.
The Wildwood Police Department is investigating the crash.
