A driver was arrested at the scene of a rear-end collision at about 2 p.m. Monday on County Road 466 near the intersection with Morse Boulevard.

The driver of a westbound Kia slammed into the rear end of a Hyundai. The woman driving the Hyundai was not injured. A passenger in the other driver’s car reportedly suffered an injury and was transported from the scene of the accident.

The driver of the Kia, whose identity was not immediately known, was handcuffed at the scene of the accident and placed in the back of a Sumter County Sheriff’s Office patrol car. The man had been driving without a license, according to a spokesman with the sheriff’s office. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
