To the Editor:
Liberals are all to familiar with the concept of “benefit of the doubt” or respect for our president,(respect is earned). Watch him at his rallies where the Trumptards go to see a show, a performance.
He starts off with something idiotic, and it gets them going. They cheer and applaud, hoping that his crazy rhetoric escalates, which it does. More and more off the rails he goes, to the crowd’s delight. I have to hope they are there for the “show,” that their motive in cheering is to have him make himself look more and more deranged. Works like magic! Perhaps that’s why, to purposely make him look like a fool to the rest of the world. I can only hope that’s the reason. There just CAN’T be that many clueless, naive (dare I say stupid) people in one place, can there? OK, so maybe now I’m being naive. I forgot I live in The Villages.
