Sumter County Sheriff’s Office pancake breakfast to raise money for Kids, Cops & Christmas

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office will host a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at RJ Gator’s in Lake Sumter Landing.

The annual event benefits the sheriff’s office’s Kids, Cops & Christmas program.

The breakfast will feature all-you-can-eat pancakes, two sausages, coffee and one glass of orange juice for $6.

The sheriff’s office will also be conducting Operation Medicine Cabinet. Operation Medicine Cabinet provides a safe way of destroying pharmaceuticals through incineration, to avoid polluting the environment.

Tickets for the breakfast are available at the sheriff’s annex at County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard. For more information, call (352) 689-4600.
