Summerfield woman jailed after altercation with sister’s boyfriend over cable modem

A 20-year-old Summerfield woman was jailed after a physical altercation with her sister’s boyfriend over a cable modem.

Briana Rachele Johnson went to a residence in the 16000 block of SE 10th Terrace in Summerfield shortly after noon on Sunday and allegedly attacked her sister’s boyfriend the moment he opened the door, according to a report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The man had to call out to his girlfriend to have her help pull her sister off of him. Johnson had gone to the home to retrieve a cable modem that belongs to another family member, the report indicated.

Johnson was arrested on a charge of burglary with assault or battery and booked at the Marion County Jail.
