Summerfield man arrested after argument over parenting advice

A Summerfield man was arrested Tuesday and charged with simple domestic battery after an altercation involving parenting advice, a Marion County Sheriff’s report states.

According to the report, Hassan I. Osman became angry with the victim while holding a screaming child. The report says that the victim told Osman the upset child might throw up because of all the screaming.
Osman, 31, then “got into the victim’s face” and pushed him in the chest, the report states. The deputy also watched a cell phone recording of the incident, which showed Osman push the victim two different times.
Osman admitted to pushing the victim and told the deputy it “was a stupid mistake.” He was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.
