Deputy Christopher Rafferty, who placed 73-year-old New York psychologist Anne-Renee Testa under arrest on Jan. 30 in the parking lot of the Lake Sumter Landing hotel, has been subpoenaed in the case. Deputy Felicia Bishop has also been subpoenaed.

Waterfront Inn food and beverage director Thomas Seigler has been subpoenaed in advance of the trial now slated for July 5. Waterfront Inn General Manager Christy Kitt had already been subpoenaed.

Rafferty had been investigating a complaint of a reckless driver when he found Testa in the driver’s seat of a still-running dark blue Mustang at about 7 p.m. that evening. The deputy asked Testa, the author of “The Bully in Your Relationship,” if she had been drinking and she said she had consumed two glasses of wine. She became belligerent and combative when Rafferty arrested her. Her breath samples registered .181 and .174 blood alcohol content. You can read more about her original arrest HERE

Testa is being represented by Winter Park attorney, Leon Blakely Cheek.
