Snowbird reports theft of AC compressor from home on Historic Side of The Villages

A snowbird has reported the theft of a compressor from his air conditioning unit from his home on the Historic Side of The Villages.

The man, who is up in Connecticut, on Wednesday contacted the Lady Lake Police Department about the theft. It is believed to have occurred sometime after April 30 at his home in the 1700 block of West Schwartz Boulevard, according to the incident report.

The fan and wiring were also stolen, according to the incident report.
