Smoke from burning trees sparks complaints from Water Oak residents

Smoke from burning trees has sparked complaints from residents of Water Oak, but the Lady Lake Code Enforcement Department verified that all town requirements are being followed correctly.

The trees are being cleared and burned for the addition of more than 100 manufactured homes. The Willow Way project will add 12 homes and the Catfish Pond project will add 109 home sites. Catfish Pond will also include a walking trail.
