A 29-year-old resident of The Villages will have to answer in court after the alleged theft of merchandise at Best Buy.
Jamie Culver attracted the attention of a store manager after “acting odd” and ducking into a restroom, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Culver then drove over to the nearby Papa John’s.
Police found Culver was in possession of a Sony speaker taken from the store, valued at $59.99.
Culver has a prior shoplifting arrest in Kentucky, the report indicated.
She was issued a notice to appear May 1 in Lake County Court.
