Rep. Hahnfeldt honored by Florida League of Cities

State Rep. Don Hahnfeldt was honored Monday evening by the Florida League of Cities.

The Villages Republican received a plaque in honor of his legislative efforts in Tallahassee. The presentation was made at the meeting of the Lady Lake Commission.

Amber Hughes, senior legislative advocate of the Florida League of Cities, offered praise for the House freshman.

Hahnfeldt described the recent legislative session and said legislators need to stand firm in representing their constituents.

“We need to maintain local control to manage our cities and counties the way our citizens want them to,” Hahnfeldt said.

Golf course deserves a failing grade
