To the Editor:
Everybody sitting down? I am NOT happy with what our MAGNIFICENT PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP has just proposed! A “Space Force”, really? I understand the need to advance our knowledge. I understand we do not want to be left in the dust by China or Russia. But proposing this, at this time, not so much. It is tantamount to a family of four, 3 months behind in mortgage payments, dad just lost his job, and mom was laid off 2 months ago, loading up the car and going to Disneyland for a week.
President Trump, we are flat broke. Not only flat broke, but 20 plus TRILLION in debt. When will our country start living within its means? There are areas that are a must, like the military. But anything that is not absolutely, positively necessary, MUST BE CUT. Either cut back, or better yet, cut out completely. You have done your best to eliminate barriers to growth and development. You have done a superb job with the economy, despite the “Resist Movement” standing in the way. We know you want us to be FIRST, but we just cannot afford it, at this time. Please reconsider this proposal.
