Postal worker ‘dying of heat’ at the Ashland Postal Station

To the Editor:

Our postal worker is dying of the heat at our Ashland Post Office. The air conditioning has been off a long time. It seems the “Villages management” does not want to pay for the repair. That is just plain cruel.
There’s a dead tree and evergreen shrubs with dead areas which never seem to be removed and clipped out. This is not just in our community, but many commercial areas in The Villages.
Things have gone downhill and are “shabby looking” since I first moved here. The Villages managers are trying to cut for profit at our quality of life and standards? Who over sees the landscape contractors do their job? The maintenance repair things as needed?
Hope this neglect can be resolved since we all pay for those services.
