A man and a woman were arrested after running out of Kohl’s on Sunday night with merchandise for which they had not paid.

Katie L. Bell, 28, of Fruitland Park, and Loren E. Burckard III, 29, of Wildwood, were arrested at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

They allegedly attempted to steal clothing, fragrance and makeup items from the store.

Bell is already on probation, an arrest report indicated. Burckard was arrested earlier this year after trying to out run law enforcement in a stolen truck. You can read about that arrest HERE

Both were booked at the Lake County Jail where they were being held without bond.
