Oxford woman arrested on felony drug charge

A 48-year-old Oxford woman was arrested Wednesday night on a felony drug charge.

Jacquelyn Hamilton Vaughn was spotted by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy at 10:41 p.m. Wednesday in a pickup parked at NE 107th Boulevard and NE 106th Lane. She gave the deputy permission to search her vehicle.

The deputy found four Oxycodone pills and a pipe for smoking crack cocaine.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
