A 78-year-old Michigan woman has died as the result of a crash Friday at State Road 44 and Morse Boulevard.
Patricia Kileen of Gobles, Mich. had been a passenger in a 2002 Mercury Sable driven by 84-year-old Jack P. Kileen, also of Gobles, Mich.
They had been traveling east at 4:25 p.m. on SR 44 and turned into the path of a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner driven by 52-year-old David C. Meyers of Wildwood, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. He had been westbound on SR 44.
Patricia Kileen later died at Ocala Regional Medical Center as the result of injuries suffered in the crash. Jack Kileen and Meyers both suffered serious injuries and were also transported to ORMC.
