Man with methamphetamine, syringe arrested in parking lot of Home Depot

A man with methamphetamine in a syringe was arrested Thursday morning in the parking lot of Home Depot.

Mark William Libby, 46, of Umatilla, was in a vehicle in the store’s parking lot when the syringe loaded with methamphetamine was found in the center console of his vehicle, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

He attempted to claim the syringe was loaded with insulin.

He as arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $3,000.
