Man with large knife arrested at Family Dollar in Wildwood

A man with a large knife was arrested Wednesday night at Family Dollar in Wildwood.

Timothy Ray Fox, 27, of Wildwood walked into the store at 400 N. Main St. shortly before 10 p.m., according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

He had a 13-inch knife with an 8-inch blade tucked in his waistband. He was attempting to conceal it under his clothing, the report indicated.

He was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. He was booked on $500 bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
