A 46-year-old man who allegedly made threats while armed with a .32-caliber revolver was arrested Tuesday night on the Historic Side of The Villages.

Lady Lake police had been called to the 1100 block of Rebecca Circle where a dispute was taking place in the outside area between to residences.

Robert J. Brisach, 46, of 1133 Rebecca Circle, had returned from New York and was unhappy that a woman with whom he had previously had a relationship had guests over at her home, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A verbal disagreement began outside and Brisach allegedly displayed the gun.

Police were called to a report of a disturbance in progress.

Two of the men had punched Brisach and another woman saw the gun on the ground. She picked it up and put it in a dresser drawer inside a home. She later turned it over to police.

Brisach was arrested on three felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and later released after posting $6,000 bond.
