Man serving three years in prison in July 2014 Villages burglary

A 27-year-old Summerfield man is now serving a three-year sentence with the Florida Department of Corrections in connection with a burglary in the Village of Pennecamp.

Jeremy Mason Little was sentenced last month in Sumter County Court by Judge William H. Hallman III. Little had pleaded no contest to charges of burglary and grand theft.

The burglary had taken place in early July at a residence on Kirkwood Court.

Little is serving his sentence at the Hamilton Correctional Institution in Jasper.

He had been convicted in 2012 of charges of possession of methamphetamine.
