A man will escape prosecution after an outburst this past September at a popular Lake Sumter Landing restaurant.
John Anthony Barba, 50, had been arrested on two counts of battery and a charge of disorderly conduct, after he threw food and cursed.
Barba, who appeared to have been drinking, was asked to leave the restaurant, but once outside began screaming at an employee and pushed the employee in the chest, according to the arrest report. Barba had attempted to re-enter the restaurant. A second redsauce employee was involved in the altercation and Barba also pushed him, the report indicated. Â
Last month, he entered into a pre-trial intervention contract. If he completes the terms of the contract, all three charges will be dismissed.
