Deputies called to Village of Lynnhaven after attack leaves man with swollen, bloody nose

Timothy James Moran

A 51-year-old man was arrested after allegedly leaving a man with a swollen, bloody nose after an altercation in the Village of Lynnhaven.

Timothy James Moran was arrested Thursday night on a charge of battery after Sumter County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a home on Livingston Loop.

Moran repeatedly punched the other man in the face, according to an arrest report.

The man had tried to push Moran away, but he “felt helpless and was unable to retreat from the beating,” the arrest report indicated.

A witness verified that Moran had been the primary aggressor in the altercation.

Moran was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.
