Lady Lake man arrested after spotted with illegally tinted window at Kangaroo in Summerfield

A 33-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after he was spotted with an illegally tinted window at Kangaroo on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Summerfield.

Patrick Vernon Dixon had been at the service station at 2:40 a.m. Friday when a Marion County sheriff’s deputy noticed his vehicle’s illegally tinted window. The deputy asked Dixon if he had a driver’s license and Dixon admitted he did not.

He was found to be a habitual offender for driving without a license. He was taken into custody and booked at the Marion County Jail.

In 2015, Dixon was arrested for driving while his license was suspended.

In 2014, Dixon was arrested on drug charges.
