Lady Lake man arrested at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge

A 29-year-old Lady Lake man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly attempted to shoplift sandals, shorts, socks, shirts and a towel from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge shopping center.

Bryan Keith Stein is accused of entering the store Tuesday morning and removing his flip flops and putting on a new pair of sandals. He put the other items into a Wal-Mart shopping bag and left the store through the garden center.

Stein had been convicted of shoplifting in 2004 in Marion County.  He had also been convicted of felony larceny following his arrest in 2014 by Leesburg police.

Stein was booked at Sumter County Detention Center.
