Lady Lake man apprehended in sheriff’s Operation Spring Sting

A Lady Lake man was one of more than 20 people rounded up Tuesday in Operation Spring Sting conducted by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Special Investigation Squad.
The arrests were the result of three months of undercover work by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Special Investigation Squad. During the operation, officers made undercover purchases of cocaine,methamphetamine, crack, oxycodone, hydrocodone, marijuana and other narcotics.
Twenty-three-year-old Rocky Narciso Colon II of Lady Lake is facing charges of sale of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell, unlawful use of a communication device, keeping drug shop conveyance and sale of heroin.
Also arrested in Operation Spring Sting are:

• Cheryl Ann Lucas, 51, of Lake Panasoffkee.
• Kathy Sue Lewis, 56, of Withlacoochee Heights.
• Richard Arthur Farley, 70, of Bushnell.
• John Raymond Beach, 35, Lake Panasoffkee.
• Carla Michelle Higginbottham, 44, of Webster.
• Christopher Arid Kirnes II, 23, of Ocala.
• Tansy Marie Wilson, 48, of Bushnell.
• Kathey Marie Hughes, 45, of Bushnell.
• Victoria Elizabeth Compton, 38, of Bushnell.
• Julian Roberto Martinez, 24, of Coleman.
• Lisa Lynn Allen, 41, of Brooksville.
• Robert Harrison Guarino III, 23, of Bushnell.
• Mark William Adams, 50, Bushnell.
• James Earl Glover III, 27, of Floral City.
• James Charles Rackley Jr., 39, of Lake Panasoffkee.
• William Julian Herndon, 59, of Lake Panasoffkee.
• Peggy Ann George, 60, of Bushnell.
• Roy Hendrikus Geurts, 47, of Bushnell.
• Stephen James Hyde, 24, of Withlacoochee Heights.
In addition, Nikki George, 38, of Bushnell, was arrested on a probation violation resulting from the 2013 Operation Clean Sweep.
“This is a continuing effort to help keep Sumter County a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. My deputies will continue to do everything they can to keep this county drug free,” said Sumter County Sheriff Bill Farmer.
