Grandchildren are everywhere this time of year in The Villages.

But with grandchildren too often comes bad behavior in a golf cart.

On Monday, a Villages-News.com reader spotted two grandsons standing up and riding on the rear of a golf cart traveling on Canal Street.

Last month, a reader sent in a photo of a grandson crammed into the back of a golf cart. You can see that photo HERE

Too often, grandchildren are riding in golf carts without seatbelts, riding on laps and being given the opportunity to drive underage. One must be at least 14 to drive a golf cart in The Villages.

Safety of grandchildren in golf carts is taken seriously at the Camp Villages Golf Cart Safety Class. Classes will be offered at 10 a.m. July 14 and Aug. 4 at Savannah Center. Tickets for the class can be obtained at Villages Box Office.
