At a recent meeting of the John Bartram Chapter of the DAR, Cora and Bill Elder presented a lively and informative program as they depicted Martha and George Washington.
The Elders are well known Washington impersonators who discussed the period after Washington achieve the presidency of the newly formed United States. He discussed Washington’s trips through the New England states and then onto the Southern states meeting with new Americans, and the building of the White House in Washington, D.C.
