A fugitive from Massachusetts was apprehended Sunday in Summerfield by Marion County sheriff’s deputies.
Daniel James Cole, 43, was taken into custody at 10:45 a.m. at a residence at which he has been living in the 8200 block of SE 147th PL.
He was wanted on a warrant charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The warrant was issued Aug. 25.
He was booked without bond at the Marion County Jail.
