A 37-year-old Fruitland Park man has been arrested on charges of felony domestic battery by strangulation and deprivation of 911.

Benjamin C. Bascom of 1207 Pine Ridge Dairy Road was taken into custody Saturday morning by Lake County sheriff’s deputies.

He was booked on $15,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.

Bascom had been arrested in June after he allegedly violated an order of protection obtained by his ex-girlfriend.

Bozo the Clown letter was completely unnecessary
