Lynn Marcella Woods

A Village of Summerhill woman who said she was diabetic was arrested after reportedly drinking tequila at City Fire at Lake Sumter Landing.

Lynn Marcella Woods, 47, was passed out in a blue Volkswagen at 1:35 a.m. this past Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The keys were in the ignition and the vehicle was turned on to the point that the air conditioning was running and the radio was playing. The vehicle had attracted the attention of law enforcement because it was parked crooked and extended halfway into the driving lane. Woods said she had been drinking tequila at City Fire.

She failed field sobriety exercises and provided breath samples that registered .125 and .124 blood alcohol content.
