A convicted sex offender landed in jail after his eviction from a local RV park.

Joshua Dean Bush, 39, had been living at the Lake Deaton RV Park in Wildwood until he was recently evicted due to “issues with park tenants,” according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Bush had been convicted of lewd and lascivious battery in 2005 in Polk County.

He was located Sunday afternoon by a sheriff’s deputy and placed under arrest for failure to register.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $20,000 bond.
