A convicted child molester from Indiana is paying a holiday visit to The Villages.
Michael Matheus, 55, on Thursday registered an address at 586 D’Angelo Lane in the Haciendas of Mission Hills with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Prior to listing The Villages address, Matheus had been living in Ellettsville, Ind. since 2014. The FDLE, which tracks the registration of convicted sex offenders, noted that Matheus’ Villages address is temporary.
He had been convicted in 2003 of molesting a child in Monroe, Ind.
