Boys & Girls Club “Benefit Bash” at Savannah Saturday night

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake & Sumter Counties will host their first annual “Benefit Bash” at the Savannah Center this Saturday. The theme of this year’s bash is “A Throwback to the 1920’s,” and will run from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The event will offer a variety of entertaining activities, including casino games and dancing. A multi-course dinner will be served and a cash bar will be available. The Red Garter Jazz Band will provide live entertainment throughout the evening and there will be a dance floor for all to enjoy. There will also be an auction and a prize giveaway for the best dressed “gal or gangster.” The auction items and prizes are valued at over $12,000.

A professional photographer will be available to take pictures next to a 1926 Ford that is outfitted with bullet holes and other markings to make it fit the times

In addition to the festivities in the main room, the event will boast a 1920’s themed “Speakeasy” lounge with a singer. The full menu will be available both in the main and side “lounge” rooms for those who may be interested in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Tickets for the event are $75.00, with proceeds benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lake & Sumter Counties. For more information or to buy tickets, try visiting www.BGCLSC.org/LadyLakeBenefitBash or call (352)-787-5258.
