AAC to pay 73 percent more next year for its share of costs for weekly Recreation News

The Amenity Authority Committee’s share of the cost for the weekly printing and distribution of Recreation News is going up 73 percent.

The AAC, which oversees amenities for residents living north of County Road 466, budgeted $210,960 in 2016-17 for Recreation News, which is inserted weekly in The Villages Daily Sun and made available to residents at no cost at recreation centers throughout The Villages.

The AAC’s share for the costs of producing the Recreation News will climb to $364,640 for 2017-18, an increase of $153,680.
